“It all began with our dream... We wanted to turn our woodworking hobby into something more - turn our knowledge and creativity into something we could build upon. We have been married for over 33 years, so we understand the concept of commitment. Our mission is to provide this same commitment to the products and the customer relationships that we create.”

In the fast paced, high-tech world that we live in – it’s easy to take things for granted. Wood has been one of the most attainable materials to be used for building everything from small wood tools to large buildings. So, it doesn’t take much of a leap to acknowledge that wood has been used for food preparation since prehistoric times when unpolished slabs of wood were probably used for the day to cut up a meal and then placed in the fire for warmth throughout the night. Through the centuries, the cutting board has evolved from tree rounds that were often soft and rapidly became unsanitary to the wood cutting boards used today. The introduction of hardwoods (both domestic and exotic) made cutting boards and butchers blocks stronger and more durable; providing households with a safe, clean surface to prepare meals on.

Charcuterie Board:

Deliciously Creative, Creatively delicious!!!

It is Art and Food in One Board! Charcuterie is beauty and mouthwatering expressed together on a serving board for the sole purpose of bringing people together. It’s a plate of appetizers and artistry. It prepares the mouths for a bountiful meal with its ability awaken the tastes buds. A simple board can bring about the sense of community a shared meal provides. Charcuterie is typically a mixture of cured meats which showcase forms of flavor enhancement. Ideally, flavors are contrasted or paired to increase enjoyment, using a combination of texture and color. A typical charcuterie board consists of mainly meats and cheeses, but these boards can also include bread, fruits, nuts or essentially anything that you enjoy - Especially Wine!

“Just as the best wines are made with the oldest vines, the best lessons are learned from old friends.”
